Then-he belied him, so necessity, they will come accosted.
They disbelieved him. Consequently, they had to be called to account.

So they lied/denied/falsified him, so they truly are being made to be present/attend (E)
The people of Elias did not listen to him; therefore, they will be called to answer for their disbelief
In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives
